Backend Developer (M/F)

Job description

Your main mission:

  • Development and implementation of backend logic for advanced B2B portals, web applications, and e-commerce solutions.
  • Design and development of API interfaces (REST/GraphQL) for integration with external systems (ERP, CRM, AI tools).
  • Query optimization and working with relational databases.
  • Collaboration with the frontend team and QA – your code is the foundation upon which others build.
  • Ensuring clean code (Code Review) and writing tests.

What we expect:

  • Good knowledge of PHP (version 8+) and experience with object-oriented programming.
  • Practical use of design patterns and good understanding of SOLID principles.
  • Familiarity with at least one modern MVC framework (Symfony is an advantage, but Laravel is also acceptable).
  • Understanding of database operations (MySQL / MariaDB) and writing optimized SQL queries.
  • Comfortable working in a GIT environment (branching, merge requests, code review culture).
  • An analytical approach to problem-solving – when you encounter a bug, you don't give up until you understand "why."
  • Use of AI tools for more effective programming – you know how to use them critically, verifiably, and with data protection in mind (no “blind copy/paste”).

Additional advantage:

  • Experience with platforms such as Drupal, Magento (Adobe Commerce), or Sylius.
  • Knowledge of the Docker environment.
  • Basic understanding of DevOps processes (CI/CD).
