Methodology 

 

The analysis or UX audit takes place in two steps: first, we analyze the existing solution, then we propose improvements. Based on your starting points, we select an appropriate approach that may include only part or all of the activities listed below.

We can perform a basic UX analysis in just a few days and present the results. If you have multiple target groups and want a more strategic approach, a more in-depth step-by-step analysis will be necessary.

After setting clear audit goals and KPIs, we begin by gathering background information such as existing data analytics, customer feedback, and support tickets. We study your context, persona, and competitors who face similar challenges.

We use analytics, heat maps, and session recordings to identify problematic user flows and drop-off points. Customer feedback helps us understand the root causes of these experience issues.

Testing with real users is an important exercise since it can reveal up to 80% of usability issues. The testers are asked to think aloud so we can note their struggles, but also their emotional responses.  We compare actual versus intended user journeys to identify experience design disconnections.

To understand how content organization supports user goals, we evaluate navigation structures and clarity. We test search functionality to ensure information findability meets user expectations.

We document detected issues and friction points in user journeys in the form of screen captures and session recordings. We then categorize them in an Excel spreadsheet according to the type and severity of the problem. The client also participates in the process.

Based on our findings, we develop solution hypotheses in the form of wireframes for each audited page. If necessary, we create a working prototype and validate it, using artificial intelligence or real user testing.

Creatim's experts present the results of the UX analysis along with improvement suggestions organized by priority, cost estimates, and necessary resources for implementation. The documented proposals serve as instructions for the development team that will implement the changes.


After the upgrade, we will continue to monitor usage analytics, especially conversions, for 60 days. If needed, we suggest additional minor changes (growth hacking) to optimize the results. We can stand by your site, optimizing the solution on a regular basis.
