The omni-channel approach to the Intersport e-commerce solution extends its capabilities beyond online sales. Leveraging a concept of “extended shelf”, the Intersport sales staff in the retail stores can now use the online order management tool to check the inventory availability throughout the Intersport retail network. Using a simple interface on a tablet, a shop assistant can now search the inventory, find a store that has your jacket and have it delivered to your home address or to the store of your choice. There is a mutual benefit - you get what you came for and Intersport cashes in on a sales opportunity it would otherwise lose.
The number and types of promotion are not an obstacle
We have developed a complex promotion system that follows the rules laid down by Intersport. The promotions are the same as those at the points of sale, while the system enables the possibility of adding specific online promotions.
A powerful editorial tool and platform for promotional activities allow a large number and different types of promotions. Through an intuitive promotion-planning interface, the editors can quickly create individual promotions. The promotions boost sales both in online shops and at the points of sale.
