Organization concept of catalogues

iCatalogue is not a standard solution in the sense of a “jack-in-a-box”. Each costumer has its needs, its environment and a different selection of products and services sold by the costumer. The organization of a catalogue therefore always requires close cooperation between the costumer and the agency. Distribution of tasks within the framework of a project is a question of the deal.

For optimal work it is important to answer a few questions:

  • Who is responsible for the organization of what kind of data?
  • Is the entire image pack available (sketches, schemes, photographs), are there any supplementations needed?
  • Who is responsible for text preparation?
  • Who (at the costumer’s side) confirms the contents?
  • In which languages will the catalogue be released, who undertakes the communication with translators?
  • Who will manage the database?
  • Who is the target audience, what kind of catalogue is needed (web, printed, pdf)?
  • Which data from the database will be used and in which medium?
  • Are there any given design solutions, are there any adaptations needed, is it necessary to design a new catalogue?
  • What are the expected minimum number of copies and the extent of the printed catalogue?
  • What about the deadline?
