iCATALOGUE is based upon a separation between content (information) and form, an accepted practice for some time now in creating online projects. With iCatalogue, this principle can be extended to practically all media types, including print. Information that has been collected in one place (in a database) can then be used anywhere: in printed or online catalogues, print ads, direct mail...
The advantages are clear: lower costs and less time going to print on both the client's side and the provider's, less mistakes, the same information can be managed by more people, etc. With projects becoming ever more extensive (online or print) and implementation deadlines becoming ever shorter, “manual” production without database connections has become virtually impossible.
